I have been fortunate enough to have made some good decisions in my career. First, in 2003 I decided to be a Linux Admin. Then, in 2008 I went all-in on VMware and eventually became a VMware VCI for 3 years. Then in 2014, my mentor showed me how to stage firmware across 200 Hosts at a time with Ansible.
That started my “Automation Journey” of which so many speak and I spent six years as a Platform Engineer specializing in IaC, DevOps, and Kubernetes.
Most recently I crossed over into the realm of Technical Sales as a Solutions Architect.
These are my musings.
