My apologies for the late post this week. I have been pre-occupied with Desperados III, and being on-call this week. I know . . . how irresponsible of me to detract from keeping you, my 8 readers from your weekly fix of TOC . . . . because of a video game! I am sure you have been obsessively checking for Thinking Out Cloud updates, frantically swiping on your phone to update your . . . whatever you use to keep yourself up to date . . .
What I can do is make some announcements, updates, and let you know what’s “in the hopper” as it were. This blog is still a thing.
First, did you know I was featured on the Day Two Cloud podcast back in March? Maybe that will keep your insatiable appetite for Thinking Out Cloud material at bay?
I also recently completed a Virtual Event for HPE Discover. For that, however, I must attach the legal disclaimer that my opinions expressed there are not those of the company I work for, since that one does mention my employer.
What I have in the hopper, in no particular order:
- Automated updates to HPE firmware using Smart Update Manager.
- vROPS Dashboard tutorial.
- Something with Morpheus, but I have not decided what yet.
- vSphere Tagging with PowerCLI and/or Ansible.
- List of must-have IaC tools.
- Taking requests!
