I feel compelled to post . . . something . . . about the vSphere 7 release. I will concede that it is a big deal and, despite my ever-present wanderings away from all things VMware, I am still a vSphere Admin by trade.
I will give you a short take and you can take it for what it’s worth.

Instead, I want to share what I have done with VMware PowerCLI and how to collaborate with it effectively using git. I call it the VMWARE POWERCLI TOOLKIT. Not sure why I do that in all caps, but that’s what I call it.
In this post, I am going shamelessly vendor-specific with the use of a suite of tools from HPE’s Composable Infrastructure. It includes HPE Synergy Frames and Blades, the HPE Oneview Appliance, the HPE Image Streamer Appliance, and use of the Oneview Server Profiles therein.
